Pretty ironic story...
Pretty ironic story...
So last week I decided it was time for a new car. I spotted a red '05 SE with my name on it
. Purchased it, traded in my 1997 and that was it.
Today I went to the dealer to pick up my reg for the new car, and while I was there my salesman told me that my trade had been broken into while on the lot
. I was pretty surprised and a little disheartened to say the least. My 1997 that I have had since new was broken into within a day or so of it leaving my possession, pretty ironic since I have never had any trouble with breakins before, and I go to school in Lowell (anyone from MA knows...)
Well we both walk over to the car to take a look. My salesman said he thinks it was an inside job. The keys to the car were taken off his desk, and the windows were rolled down using the remote. Then the keys were returned to his desk. They only wanted the climate control unit which included my aftermarket Sony HU. All the wires were neatly taken apart at the clips, no rough edges or split wires, pretty professional. They didn't bother to take my Polk component front or co-ax rear speakers or anything else in the car, just the climate control and radio. Pretty strange if you ask me.
That's my story. IRA Nissan in Woburn, MA... great to purchase a car from... but if you leave it on the lot... be careful.

That sickens me to hear that someone did that to a car ON THE LOT. Although it happens all the time. I hope that person is taught a lesson whether it be by the law or just by poetic justice.
Congrats on the 6th gen Maxima.

thats jacked up but atleast you had already traded in your car, so its their problem. I bet you it was an inside job and they just broke the window to make it look like someone off the street did it.

Because I had a problem when you rolled down the windows using the remote they would go down and leave about 1" sticking out from the weather stripping. If you used the buttons on the door they would go all the way down but using the remote they would stick up.
And he drives a Mercury Mountaineer, went to school with my uncle, lives in town in a very nice neighborhood and is involved in cancer benefits for his wife's ex husband who died of cancer. Not saying it could have been him but i don't think it was. Not my car anymore so it's their loss but it still sucked to see it.
