Driver seat+wheel doesn't move back.

Ok i installed a sub+amp to the existing setup using the pac adapter. But now when i get out of the car, the seat and wheel won't move out of the way. I checked the fuses out but none of them are dead. Both things move when you use the switches. Any idea as to what could it be? I also checked the car's settings and it's all right.

Settings are set to On. I even tried resettings settings then setting it again, still nothing. The only cables i touch when i tooked out the middle console was the lcd, and AC. I probably bumped to some other connection around there. Gonna check tomorrow.

It will come back on in a day or two. Mine does the same thing everytime I disconnect the battery. No worries. Just drive it around a little (off & on).

Same thing happened to me recently. Replaced the battery and a lot of things wigged out; seat, steering wheel, moon roof. Did a couple of things that seemed to fix all the problems:

1. Made sure everything in the main settings were as I wanted them.

2. Programmed the seat and steering wheel.

3. While the car was running, ran the seat/steering wheel/moon roof through all the possible movements. Sort of like calibrating the sensors or some such thing.

I suspect the last one was the one that did the trick.

Nevermind got it working again. Went to work and when i open the door both items moved back. I did the 3rd one while the car was warming up (moving seat/wheel) guess it did the trick. I proceed to let off a big sigh.

Vorcyon (and others) - Anytime the electrical circuit is broken (usually via a battery cable or other wire being disconnected) even for one second, settings such as radio preselect buttons, sunroof controls, seat, steering wheel and mirror selections are discarded. This is automatic, has been pretty much the same on most of my cars for years, and is simply an inconvenience, not a true 'problem'.

Im also have the same problem. I had an alarm system with remote start (Viper 791 XV) installed in my max and now my memory functions dont even work. I've had to turn off that function that moves the steering wheel and seat back to the saved spot for you. I've taken it to a Nissan Dealership and they said they dont know whats wrong with it (idiots).

Im thinking that the installer might have screwed something up when he spliced into some wires. I have the extended waranty that covers all electronics, but will Nissan honor it?

I think there was a reset sequence that you must do after you remove the battery. I am pretty sure its to hold the toggle button on the sunroof for over 10 seconds in the close position.
