We share a bldg w/ Nissan (from the Dulles toll rd there are both Nissan and Oracle logos) and factory distributors often come thru. There was an 02 Altima a few weeks back but for just one day. Anyway, it's '02 Maxima SE ... man those tail lights are nice! It still has the 6-spoke rims. It's a little dark in the garage so I couldn't see the interior too well.

BTW - the Primera has an interesting front.

Holy crap! Can I come see? I work just down the Toll Road from you (at Weihle Ave). Is the garage open to "visitors"?

I do, but not with me! I would say maybe tomorrow, since I'm going to be sitting at nearby Reston Hospital (right around the corner) all day while my daughter has ear surgery, but I won't have a good way to find out if the cars are still there tomorrow (unless pjanders wants to give me his phone number ).

I hope your daughter's ear surgery goes well. Maybe you should stay with her instead of going.

OK, who else is close to that location?

Thanks ... there will be a couple of hours where we're just sitting in the waiting room reading magazines while the surgery takes place. It's nothing dangerous or anything, so I wouldn't expect any updates during the procedure anyway. That said, my wife might be kinda ****ed if I left to go see "some cars" ... But I'd be willing to try.

Sorry, I was in a bunch of meetings. Like I said, these distributors come and go, no promises on how much longer the car will be around, but call me on my cell 703.623.0557 if I'm not in a meeting I'll sneak you in. BTW - the address is 196 Van Buren St (President's Plaza) at the intersection of Worldgate and Van Buren.

Cool ... if I get an opportunity tomorrow I'll give you a buzz and see if they're still around. Would probably be before lunch.

I work in Reston, right here on Sunset Hills Rd, and that is not too far for me. If the car is still there, let me know, I will take a rack of pictures with my Digital Camera, if the garage is accesible to anyone.

Hey guys- I spoke with my sales manager this aft, he said we might have an '02 on the lot next Wednesday! I'll definitely bring my camera to work, if it pans out, I'll be the first to post pics!

Well, I went over there from the hospital yesterday around lunchtime but I couldn't get Paul on his cellphone. The garage is closed off by full metal rolling doors. So I waited for a car to come in and head for the garage, and when one did, I just piggybacked him and drove right in behind him. It's a small garage so it didn't take long to look around. It was packed with Max's, mostly AE SE's. There was a Q45 and some Frontiers, but alas, no 2002 Max or Primera. They may have been out to lunch, who knows.

I bet those are the ones coming to Maxus 2001 on Saturday. The Primera and the '02 Max will be there.

Yep, when the exit door rolled up on my way out, I was half expecting a couple of guards to be standing there with their guns drawn on me.

BTW, I searched the outside parking lot too, to no avail.

Mike, nice move with the piggyback. Anyway, sorry for missing your calls. I was deep in the lab in Oracle's Reston campus all day yesterday playing with new HP clusters. Our garage is 'low security' so no, you wouldn't have been shot. Anyway, I'll post again when I see new cars. I can't wait till the new Z rolls in there!

Hey Jambo...

Shouldn't this garner me an automatic upgrade to "Maximaniac" status?!
