On another post, I mentioned the travails I had after driving through flooded streets. Since I drive my Max's till they die, I was concerned about problems down the road even though the car seems to be fine.

After picking up the car last night after the repair, I went into the new car showroom and told them I wanted to talk about trading my car for the same car in a 2K1. What do you think they offered??

We all know that as soon as you take possesion and leave the lot, it becomes a used car (that is when you want to sell it, not if you were looking to buy one). I figured it would cost me $3K max to go into a new one.

Well aside from the fact that they had no 5 speed SE's, they said that it would cost me $5K-6K to get into a new one!!! YIKES!

As a result, I'll be driving my 2K and hope it serves me as well as my two prior SE's.
