I got a late start because of work and I had to pick up some air tools and stuff that Sinewave lent me!!! I got the Y-pipe out, the cross member w/ front & rear motor mounts off, the motor and gear oil are out, the Radiator and coolant are out, the bottom part of the CAI is out, the gear shift lever and support are are disconnected, radiator overflow bottle out. (Mechanics Gloves ROCK!!!!)

Tonight I'll get the power stearing fluid and lines out and the AC lines disconnected and perhaps start the process of taking the cv joints/half shafts out. I'm still hoping to be able to pull it first thing Saturday morning.

Total hours so fare in just the swap ~8.0

The bad news is that their is a tropical storm in the Gulf of Mexico looks like it will be heading towards New Orleans. It may turn into a small catagoty 1 huricane. It is due here on Sunday, so that just blows!!!

Question: When you took the wire harness off, you did mark them correct? Same with the vacuum hoses. Most will just fall back into where they connect to but some are a little confusing. Good luck!

Most of the electrical are color coded. Vacume is pretty much still connected on the new motor. I do have an ESM and Sinewave will be comming over in his Max so I can reference that if I need to. I do expect a few ECM codes but thats part of the motor swap game!

Thanks again Jeff!

I'm the little mechanic who knows he can!!! I think I can! I think I can! I think I can! I think I can!
