Has anyone painted or had a piece made for the middle deck between the brake lights, so it looks just light part of the trunk? If so , got any pics

It has been done before. Try using the search function on the board to locate previous threads about it. Shaving it would be done just like shaving anything else. Use some body filler, then sand, then paint. This is in no way a DIY project unless you want your car to look like a local ricer. Body shops would have more info and pricing.

Personally I plan on shaving the whole thing all the way down to the bumper, whereas this person shaved it down to the chrome stripe.

I think that if I were to do it, I'd the "maxima" text pieces like found on the fourth gen trunks...

Ive been thinking about doing this for the longest.

 

Well im getting my car painted this week or next week, so i got to decide quick. So how much you think it would cost to have done??? Ill try and get some estimates tommorow.
