the $25 bucks or so..one are avail at your local parts store. the dealers uses mcgard wheel locks. they work pretty good for stock rims. but for tuner wheels and the $$ rims get some lugs that needs a special key to undo all of them. if you have $$ rims they can unbolt the 4 lugs (if 5 lug rim) and rock the wheel back and forth until the last wheel stud breaks off. with all 5 lug locks you are a lot safer.

just my idea

on my wheels i got wheel locks, but i also kept the stock lugs. The reason for this, and not getting tuners, is that you can only get them off with a very thin walled socket. The normal lug wrency and most other sockets won't fit in the hole.

if you only have a couple lugs on tehre...theywont do squat. all it will do is slow down the thieves. i know guys who have stolen stuff before, and I asked them how I could keep my wheels on my own car, they said that locks just did ****, and slowed them down, if at all, it'd **** them off more.

righttttt...then i can also steal your ENTIRE car with the wheels and take my sweet time to take EVERYTHING off. catch my drift?? what your aiming to do is "slow them down"...if you put $3000 rims on your ride and lock them w/ one lug lock you'll be asking for it. but for stock wheels one is pretty much ok because the thief can go to another car w/o locks and take those exact same wheel off.
you can have the top of the line alarm, security and etc..it only slows them down..that's what u want to do. nothing is thief proof..if it's on the street you just want to deter the thief...but if they want it bad enough it'll be gone.

Crap.

*scribbles note to self: get TWO sets of locks for each wheel*

tuners = in this case, are special lugnuts for the wheels that use a non-standard socket to remove them.
