I was reading about this on maximadriver.com and it seems to be safe. From everything I read there there really isn't anything to worry about if it's installed correctly. I believe you can find the article in the HOW2 section. Hope this helps you make a decision.

I just installed mine. After the research I did in it, the one (SUPER S) they make for our car doesn't seem like the troublesome kind. I would only worry with a supercharger, supposedly. The sets of pulleys that are much smaller/lighter sometimes can cause problems, but the super S seems good.

Price?

I'll assume you guys have shopped around and have found the best price. I was thinking about getting one as well. Can you tell me where you bought/will be buying the UPD and the price? Thanks so much.

That's what I'm wondering.

I've heard mixed reviews. Some say you can really feel it, and some say it's barely, if at all noticable.

Like to hear other opinions.

The Blue, how did you fabricate that gauge panel?

I just ordered my NOS Press. Gauge, A/F gauge, and EGT gauge, altho I think I could do without the EGT and go with an OIL press. gauge. A Dual Gauge pod is on the way, but I would hate to drill a hole in the pillar.

Let me know how you did that, and the materials, you used.

his gum is better!

As for performance, I've only had it on like a day, lol, but the powerband is wider, acceleration is much more responsive (YES!), and the car feels fine. Make sure you have a good tension on the belts though lol...mine were a little loose after a night in the rain. Had to tighten them a little. There are several excellent write-ups on how to install them. I will be writing up mine in a few days as well...with a few pictures.
