Bose Subwoofer encloser in a non Bose 5th gen Maxima

My maxima has a non bose system the stock CD/tape/am/fm. Would I be able to put a aftermarket sub in the back where the bose would usually go?

JL Audio unfortunately does not make a stealthbox enclosure for the 5th Gen Maximas yet. Only for the 4th. I have a JL 10W3D6 glassed on the right rear corner of my trunk so that when you open up the trunk you don't see anything at all. Sorry, I don't have pics of it yet, my system is finished yet...I wouldn't mount it though underneath the rear deck lid like the Bose sub but build a custom enclosure for your subs, sounds much much better.
