Should there be one? I have been reading a few threads about cleaning the throttle body which I did and I discovered, there is no gasket where the TB mount on! Do I need to buy one?
Thanks,

Yes, it provides a better seal. They cost all of 5 dollars are the dealership. Get one. Funny that you don't have one, have you ever had your TB serviced.

My 95 had one but it is nothing substantial. Just a paper thin hard polymer sheet.

I think that it is weird too! I have never had it serviced or had anyone do any work that would require removing it! I hope it isn't leaking unfiltered air into the combustion chamber. Btw, thanks for the reply, I appreciate the response. I will buy one from Nissan tomorrow!

Uh, most gaskets ARe just paper thin, hard polymer sheets. They keep metal from touching metal and provide a seal when metals contract and expand.
