Test Pipe(no cat)??

I know some of you guys are running test pipes (no cat) on your max's. alright time to fess up, did you get them custom made or does someone actually sell these. Lemme know where. thanks.

walked up to my muffler guy..

me: i think my cat is clogged.. it is not as fast at top speeds anymore
him: sounds familiar
me: so how do we check to see if that is the problem..
him: well we can put in a test pipe for now.. and you can test it out and see.. if not we will see other means
me: yeah i will try that...

dropped car off the next morning.. picked it up in the evening.. paid my $40 and i was freeeeeeeeeeeeeeeeeeeeeeeeeeeee

i still have my orginal cat but now its a hi flow cat thanks to a very big and long screwdriver (crowbar screwdriver looking things). i just gutted out my cat and theres more pull on my top end but you atleast have to have a intake and muffler to feel the difference. with a stock configuration you wont feel any or no difference.

I just measured my cat and the flanges, geve the specs to the muffler shop and picked the thing up, $30.

I mailed my OEM cat to www.maxrev.com

They TIG welded up a nice SS pipe with fixed flanges for me. $40.

picked up a cheap *** SS pipe with 2.5 opening and had flanges welded on that sucka !
