Go with the Verdicts. They're very light.

I really want the second ones (konig caffeines) but I was at the local store (americas tire) and they didnt have them in stock and they made a call to konig to find out when they would be and I found out that they are discontinuing the caffeines. Im really mad because they were only $180 per rim for 18x7.5's...anyway looks like im settling for the verdicts. i just wish they were a polished silver.

I recommend not getting the Verdicts (3rd one) because I have them, as does at least one other person on the .org hehe. I recommend not getting the caffeines because they are ugly (in my opinion) and old. I recommend not getting the Reigns (1st one) because they are old as hell as well. I guess you should just buy mine and I'll get new wheels... hows that sound?

I was thinking about getting these. But in 17x7.5. Would you recommend the 17x7.5, or the 17x8. What difference would it make. I still want to maintain a pretty smooth ride with somewhat similar gas mileage, but I have no idea how the extra 1/2" will perform. I know some people already have these rims, and I don't want to seem like a copycat, but I really think they are sharp. Also, what kind of tires would I need. I hear that there aren't that many avaliable for the 7.5 ones. Thanks in advance.

If there is one thing that I would do over, it would be to get 18X8s instead of 18X7.5. Therefore, in your case, I would get 17X8s for handling purposes. Also you're right, there are more tire selections in the 8" width.

$1800 for Konig Verdicts in 18" Whoa there... that's highway robbery. I got mine for $970 for the set with Kumhos. I have a hookup, but that only saved me probably $200-300. I suppose if you are getting some $250 a piece tires that might be ok, but if you aren't you are getting ripped off. What's the breakdown of the price they gave you?

Well for those interested in the SSR's you can look at the Nakayama Phantom GTR's same wheel and they weigh only 19lbs I don't know if they come in 8" tho..that'll be good to find out...it's the exact same wheel but cheaper than SSR's.....check out Washington Tire

r u sure they're 19lbs? I tried their web-site but it really rots ... nice layout but not userfriendly ... i think it's only 7.5" ... not sure how much the 0.5" will do .. may 18 x 8.5"?

On Whalentire.com, the Verdicts (18X8) and Kumhos (235/40-18) will run you between $1364 (silver) or $1456 (Black opal) + shipping. Just wanted to give you a heads up.

I saw these too in a magazine, but I don't know if they are made the same way as the SSR ones. I know that they might just change out the center cap with the logo, but the SSR ones are 16.5 lbs for the 17x7.5" size. I don't know about the weight for the 17x8" though, but it can't be that much more.

i was thinking of the Reigns in 16" back when I was looking for rims for my 3rd gen but they were not in stock... Caffenes are okay, but I don't really like them much for some reason. The Verdicts are nice wheels though, before i thought they sucked, but I saw them on an older Acura TL and they looked hot in a kind of dark silverish/polished finish.. If they are light, I'd pick those out of the 4....
How about The monsoons or Tantrums? There is a sale on discounttiredirect.com right now, the 18" Tantrums are only 155$ a piece...
