On his first run today at the Import Drag Wars in Houston, he ran a 12.2 at 106 mph!!!! First run! He can get better he said! No one has ever hit that low in a Maxima, and he just did! Congrats Don!

Damn Don. Congrats. Can you tell us fellow maxima drivers how you have your car set up to run that? I want to break 10 and am prepaired to spend $5000 on an engine rebuild to hold up to 15 psi and 150-200 shot of nos. Please let us know how you have it set up. Thanks

When it comes to drag cars....the fastest are build AUTOMATICS becuase they shift faster than a human can...and they are consistant. Normal streetcars are a whole different story. Now I know you guys will say that don's car is street legal...but come on...mod for mod IN GENERAL 5-speeds are faster...but there are always exceptions to a rule.....CONGRATS DON!!!

Well Don runs NOS. and this was his first run of the day. He had all day today to run and tomarrow which is finals. Lets wish him luck. Maybe he hit 11s?! hehehe. Anyways, he is still using his OLD engine, the new one is still in his garage! So I can't wait to see him run 12s off N/A then 10s off NOS! hehehhehe! It will be interesting!

We just got back for the day, we'll finish qualifying tomorrow morning, eliminations start at noon. Its pretty hot outside, I only ran one more time, it wasn't very quick because of the heat, inlet temp was 126, too hot. We packed it up and took it home.

Adam took a video, its very clear and nice, we will convert it to mpeg and get it out in the next few days.

I'm not sure about the MPH, I know my tires are a little small, I still haven't figured that out yet.
