These are all cars that cannot use EZ Pass in the windshield© They have some sort of heat reflective glass and must mount the tag on the outside of the vehicle© Why doesn't the Max get it if I30 does? Just curious©

I have the 2000 I30 and use my EZ-Pass from inside the windsheld all the time..no problems

 

When we were getting our EZpass accounts set up, I didn't have my 1st max yet, but my dads 87 Mercury Sable which is basically a Ford, was on the list... we put the tag on the inside and it works fine and been working fine for the last 2 years.

Supposedly EZ Pass says only 2001 I30© Wonder what info they are basing the list from? I doubt they could have tested all the cars to see that it doesn't work© But these cars seem to have windshields that resist heat© Both Philly and Port Authority have the same list, which probably came from the mfg© of the tag©
