Where to get interior LED's for 95 GXE.

I think they are the 192(4) Leds??? For the lights on the inside of the doors and also for the dome light up top (not the reading lights near the windshield)

Any help or experiences with them is greatly appreciated.

I am jumping into this thread to stay informed. I tried to get the led bulbs for my car but haven't found any yet. I know NYmax or somebody had them and had 3 out of 5 go bad within a weeks time. I made some led bulbs for my gauge cluster, looks sweet. I am trying the link you gave. To make my led bulbs was pretty expensive, but I know they were made perfect. (since I did them that's the best quality control)I may check out radioshacks since I have a few more to go.

Try here:

or here:

or here:

I got mine from Street Beat but they were backordered so I only have two bulbs and I'm waiting for the rest of them to come in before putting them into my gauges.

Thanks for those links....9.95 a piece though, and people say they burn out in a week??? Ouch.

That radioshack link is for untailed LED's, I'm specifically looking for the 194 leds (which I believe go in the interior of the doors on the max, correct me if i am wrong).
If anyone else has links, let me know! I appreciate it.

OOOOOOOOOOOOOH!!

My bad!!! I completely overlooked the "194" part LOL!
They have some on EBAY for $10.99 starting bid for a pair. They're suppose to be better than regular 194 LED's b/c of the shape on the tip (??) check em out!!

Actually... I thought they were $9.95 for each, but it turns out they are $9.95 a pair. So I'm going to have some extra bulbs cause I ordered 5 sets. I'm gonna wind up with 10 bulbs. Hehehe.

But ny96maxse had some Japanese 194 LED bulbs. The bulbs that I got from Street Beat were APC.

I'm at work right now, but when I get home, I'll take some pictures of the bulbs and post them up.

For the doors, there is not drop in replacement. You have to un-sodler the OEM green LEDs from the circuit board and solder in new red ones. It's not that hard, but's it's not plug and play either...

From searching, (http://search.ebaymotors.com/search/...&query=194+LED) I found out that CATZ makes 194 LED bulbs. Try the link to see what I mean.

Another place

Try a place called " U do it electronics" like radio shack but bigger, better and cheaper.

Rooster, if you are referring to the lights at the bottom rear corners of the doors, they are 194s. Your dome light however is not a 194, it is a barrel shaped bulb. Summit Racing has a nice looking blue bulb part # GRM-01-316 but note that it does not illuminate anything in the interior. You have to look at the dome light to see it's blue. I would assume the led 194 would drop in the doors but I don't know their actuall dimensions. I am going to check these threads out now cuase the 3 led bulbs I made myself cost about $9.00 a piece. (3 leds @ $3.00 a piece.) They still look great.
Also, thanks Clee for the links and do you know if what I was saying about NYmax's leds is true? DId they quit working right away?

Yup, those bulbs are 194, the window switch LED's are the ones from Radio Shack. The link I provided above on eBay can can give you an idea what the LED 194 bulbs look like.

Great, thanks!!!....

One more question....do you need only 1 bulb per door, or more? I'd check myself, but it's 12am here, and I'm hoping to buy tonight if someone responds within the hour.

Thanks again!

What is the size of the bulb in the map light. Its the one where you have the controls for the moonroof.
