at Maximadriver.com, there's a clip of a Maxima doing donuts in snow...but i've never seen a FWD car doing a donut on dry surface unless he's spining out of control....

pull the ebrake as hard as you can(to lock the rear wheels completly) and turn the steering wheel all the way to the left and right, flick the TC off if you have an auto and just floor it....I think it might work but i don't know i just guessed

damn, just killing your tires that way...anyhow....i did something not a donut but fun....
go in an big empty parking lot, when it's raining(ice and snow is TOO dangerous) flow your gas and when u hit a nice speed turn ur wheel all the way to the left r right and floor your break and also bull the e-brake...it's fun, do it all simultaneously....don't advise doing it too much cuz it's dangerous, crazy and it kills ur tires...

I did donuts in my 92 Eclipse Auto (FWD) on dry surface in a paved parking lot. I floored it from 0 to ~35 then just hit the brake pedal and locked it hard left. Once it started to spin I hit the gas again and I was spinning! I went around about two full circles then got off the gas and let the steering wheel go. I calmly drove over to my friends and parallel parked like nothing happened.
I got out the car said wazzup and they just stared at me. Needless to say I had a serious buzz going.

I think the Eclipse size/weight/shape makes it easier to spin. I won't be trying that with the Max! But it should be possible.

Why not? I've seen it done. Several times in fact.

pulling the e-brake don't do ****! i had to pull my e-brakes when my brakes failed on me( ) and it barely stopped my car...i had to pump the brake for pressure and downshift...eventually the e-brake haulted the car to a stop, but i don't think e-brake alone is going to make your car slide...

I can't believe we are talking about this! How did you see a FWD car do a REAL donut???? I am clueless on this one. The way a car does a REAL donut is with spinning REAR wheels which makes the rearend of the car spin in circles. You must be thinking of a slide which only includes maybe 180 degrees at best, if lucky a little more. A real donut the car can "spin" in circles as long as the tires last.

not a donut, but just after it rained a little, a few friends and i were going to ma friends house, and my friend was behind me. i told him to watch me, so i give the car sum gas and just at the turn i pull on the ebrake hard, holding the button down, and make the turn. my friend was going cause i just pulled the fast and the furious turn the white dude makes in the supra when he gets out of the garage...well at least it was somewhat close to the turn. i guess the front wheel drive is diff when u make that turn..
hehe pretty fun ****.
peace
