Corner light rewire on 95/96

Yes, I have used the search function, but I can't find detailed instructions on how to rewire the corner lights on a 95/96. The only instructions I could find were for a 97-99.

If you know how to do this, could you please post

Thanks

all i did was take a metal file and shave off one of the lower nibs on the bulb itself. Then re-install the bulb and you should be set to go.

Search on ME

I have a post some where with Pics of what 'Nib' to shave off and How to re-wire all the front lights on a 98' Max. Not sure what Mods will work on yours but I posted all the Pics and things you need to do it.

FYI: the links may not work on that post if they don't PM me with a link to the post so I can update the links. If you know how to the Pics are all on the same URL only on port 880 NOT 80.

OK, I found the link ( http://forums.maxima.org/showthread.php?threadid=56901 ) and that is what i tried to do with my '96. Except when I tried to put the bulb in backwards it didn't "click in". You know when you press the bulb in the right way, you can feel the pressure of the spring in the socket pressing back. Well when I put it in the opposite way, the bulb doesn't even touch the bottom of the socket and it's loose and just wiggles around.

Is there anything else I could do?
