What did Nissan actually change on the rear suspension of the 2000+ models to improve handling? I know it had something to do with the damn rear axle. Is this a bolt-on to 4th generation cars or a major "don't even bother trying to even consider it" mod. And does anyone know if they jacked with the shocks/springs for the 5th gen?

 

I don't know why you would want to do this. IT's a "it's totally silly to even think aobut doing it mod". Get a RSB and call it a day.

The performance benefit is negligible compared to the difficulty of the project. In fact, I think it would be impossible! The 5th gen beam axle has relocated mounting points for the central link (where the control rod is), and it would not fit on a 4th gen chassis.
