Do the 2K2's require premium fuel?

Pretty much same engine, I would imagine they would need the same fuel.

Nissan been wierd about the whole PREMIUM thing. Says PREMIUM RECOMMENDED...... so yea you can put regular, just makes it knock once in a while.

it will knock but you will never hear it. the knock sensor stops that from happening ever. if your car knocks you need to replace your knock sensor. i'm gonna use premium.

I try to use premium, but when the prices are WAY TOO high, I need to drop it to regular for that one tank......... lol

Knocks under hard load. As in going up steep hills with the throttle mashed.

My 2000 manual says to use a minimum of 91 octane. The 2002 manual says the same.
