Audi A6 2.8T started to egg me on, so we RAN!

I was like what the heck! I didn't expect to run anyone, and when I saw HIDs coming up FAST. I was like hmm, he slowed down next to me, when I looked over he just glanced at me and nailed it, I was like doh, shifted down, ac off, bam, 55mph, hit 2nd, gained my distance back, hit 3rd, I started reeling him in good, by mid to top of 3rd, I was passing him, and had to let off. We did this like 4 times, and finally he got off and exited! At least we can take those cars!

Is 2.8t means they have a turbo in their 2.8 engine? Is that what you mean? Or were you talking about the 2.7 turbo engine?

BTW, I heard in the Legend forum that even the 3600lb Legend Type-I auto fully loaded could be one of those in highway. I think the 2.8 doesnt have much high end torque where as the 5thgenMaximas keep making power all the way to redline.

It said 2.8T or at least I thought. I remember the 2 and the T really well.. I was right behind him a few tiems with my lights on his tail while cutting through traffic.

Could have been a 2.8 rebadged with the T from a 2.7T/1.8T. In that case, your kill is completely feasible and I'm surprised you didn't put more on him.

There was ALOT of traffic and we were swerving alot. So I was a bit nervous doing what I was doing, and only had about 2-3 good openings but not enough to get around him when he nailed it. I was 1/4 in front when I had to hit the brakes again.

the 2.7T's are FAST! a friend of mine has the auto 2.7t A6 and i would not dare to race it with my auto max. I believe the 0-60 on it is around 6.6~ so the stick would be a good race. the 2.8 is an easy kill for the sticks and a good run against the autos.
Btw, grats on the kill
