Anyone had this mod done to their AT valve body? The vendor claims that the mod will add greatly to the performance and the longevity of the tranny. The mod isn't cheap either. Thanks in advance for your assistance.

The VB upgrade is suppose to make the trans run cooler, last longer, and shifters faster adn firmer. Yes it does do all this. Many people here have had this done to their cars. You can get it from Level 10 Trans in NJ or ask Don in Texas about it. He sells it for 425 w/ core exchange.

The trans definitely shifts firmer, much nicer in my opinion. It should also last longer in theory. Because of the faster shifts, the clutches don't need to slip as much to engage, and there is less wear and tear. This is what I've been told at least. However, the fluid actually gets hotter than stock because of the increased line pressures so most recommend an aftermarket transmission cooler.
