HELP with trans. switch install!!!!

hey i was wondering how much it costs on average for a shop to do the auto to manual transmission switch? that is if i have ALL the parts ahead of time so all they are doing is the labor part! thanks in advance!

I have been sweating over this issue for about 2 months. I don't think it'll be worth it. Nissan quoted someone 4 g's, AAMCO quoted me over 1G including some parts, and member Cbr2 quoted me $400 for labor. The actual conversion isn't too hard. It's removing and tinkering with all the freakn parts that makes it such a pain. It is VERY VERY laborous.

Remember, automagic's last longer than 5spds. Why ? Cuzz we have perfect shifts

If you wanted the speed of a 5spd, get a VB upgrade and a High-stall torque converter, and you'll be able to take many 5spd maxima's and have their @sses. (considering their driving skills arent excellent).

I have decided to personally hold off on the conversion, keep my amazing sound system, and go mad dynomatting the trunk. (You wouldn't belive the amount of rattling)
