New '04 Owner and I need help

I just brought an 2004 manual. I love it but there are a few things I am noticing.
- I also want a good mechanic. Know anyone in the 617 who nows their Maximas and will hook me up

Paze,

Welcome and good choice in vehicles. Let's see if we can tackle these one at a time.

The a/c might be related to another minor issue. Do you have a gurggling sound in your car? Like a water fountain? If so, I think we can fix your a/c problem really easily. I believe the two issues I am thinking of are linked. It is merely a case of too much air in your radiator lines. "Burping" the system will rectify this (So I believe I have read that here).

Second;
Are you car smart? Do you feel safe lifting it up on a jack? If so I would check out the cv boots. See if you have axle grease sprayed all up on your backside of the rim, and fender liner. You may have a blown boot. Any clicking or popping sounds when you turn? Kind of like a card in the spoke of a bike?
Does your car make that thumping noise when you go over bumps/potholes? If so you may have a blown shock.

As soon as you can get back to me, we will trouble shoot it here for you.

Swee

how do you mean the a/c goes from cold to hot in one setting? like, 60 degrees is cold, and 61 degrees is hot? (hopefully not, but ... please clarify)

the popping sound when turning is most likely a cv joint, like Swee said..

how long ago did you buy the car? where'd you buy it from? a dealer?
