Weird Headlight... (I wouldn't say problem?)

Okay so I think there is a short in my system but I have no clue what would make my headlights do this...

High and low work perfect, but when I pull my blinker stick in to flash someone, some wattage goes to the high beams, as WELL as regular wattage to the low. Then If I fiddle with the blinker stick they'll go back to normal low... think it's just a bad blinker stick mechanism or something? It puzzles me...

here is a vid:

man, that looks like a bad blinker stick as well as the wires with it, i would look for another one in a junk yard and try that out.

Yup.. headlight switch itself is going out.

you can try cleaning it and it'll get better for a little while, but it just comes back..

Mine's even worse right now..

turn low beams on and I have a right side light only.
flip my highs on and my right side goes out, left lights up.

homemade wig-wags!!

I have a new switch sitting in a box, just haven't had time to install it. better do it soon tho- my inspection was up in July. doh.

I also recommend buying a new one. they're about $60 from the dealer, but I've heard you can get them aftermarket too. if you get one from a junkyard, they're just going to have problems too- especially after sitting in the weather. for days/weeks/months. mine worked just fine until I let the car sit for a year when I blew the engine. it's had problems ever since.
