installing rear speakers in 95' maxima

installing rear speakers in 95' maxima
i have installed the front door speakers it was easy
now i cant figure out how to get the stock speakers out of that foam board thats in the rear window and put the NEW aftermarket speakers i just got
any suggestions would help

remove these two screws in the picture
there's going to be one screw on each side, that must be removed
after that is done, the back of the seat can be lifted up
once that stuff is done, now u have a lot better access to the speakers, which now you just pop the cardboard piece up, now you should see the speakers now

the c-pillar covers have to come out before the package tray cover can "just pop" up. also the 3rd brakelight housing, if so equipped, has to be removed b4 you pop up the tray cover. pita job!!
What VQ30DETT posted is only for the top, back piece of the seat. You'll have more work space of you remove the bottom piece.
To remove the bottom piece, look below the seat area.
There should be a small piece that stick out on each side where you can pull it to release the bottom part. From there on, you can remove the back piece.
The C-pillars does not need to be removed. It's a PITA to remove it than to put it back on. I pulled out the rear deck without removing the C-pillars.
The rear deck is flexible to some extent. In order to pop or pull out the rear deck, it's suggested you stick your arm or something the size of your arm all the to the back of the deck to "help" it come out easily. There are hooks on the deck that hooks on to something back there.
I dont know if this is clear enough to help you.

for that, go in the trunk and you should see them under the frame with the speakers. use like a wire cutter or sumthin to pop them all out, the panel will be lose now. He's right, the pillars don't have to be moved, if u are gonna move em, don't crack em like I did. Be patient
