Couple of questions about my 96 please!!!... (struts/shocks/ypipe)

im buying a warpspeed y-pipe and tokico blues shocks/struts from someone.

well...
the blues and the y-pipe were on his 2001... he said the blues will fit on models 95-01, i have a 96... and he said as long as my 96 is a fed spec, the y-pipe will also fit

my questions for you guys are...
will the blues fit on my 96 if it was on his 01?

and will the y-pipe fit?, how do i know if my 96 is a fed-spec or cali spec?... i know that my car came from texas, and i have a 96GLE...

thanks guys.

Your car is probably fed spec unless it was owned by someone in California for a while.. have you ever run a carfax?

Check in the Stickies I believe there is a way to check using your VIN or something.

Cali spec models have been sold outside of California, but most likely the OP's car will be fed-spec.

5th gen suspension will only fit on the rear, the front knuckle bolt spacing is too wide for the bottom of the front strut. It can be modified, drilled out, but I don't know if that's too much work for you.

Check the FAQs up in the stickies, will show you cali vs fed spec IIRC.
