Would i get a nice sound if i put a tunable bomb mufler on my max?

I was wondering what my my maxima would sound like if i took off the stock mufler and put a tunable bomb mufler on there. Would it sound sweet? because i want the sound. . i dont have the money right now to get a whole new exhaust system. What do ya think Max Experts?!?!

Hey for $15 for a cherry bomb, go for it. At worst it'll sound like crap and then you can put back the old one on and sell the bomb to some kid with a clapped out Nova

Save your money --

And it wont add horsepower

And it will annoy all your girlfriends and neighbors and local cops.

You think you'll like it and then you'll get a little older and realize that its goofy --

If it really is only $15 like Tai Mai Shu said, then I would go ahead and give it a try.

Yep

$15 for a cherry bomb - but I think that thing is gonna be tooo loud. And I thought they went more upstream in the exhaust system, like at the cat. Sounds like fun to me, I waste $15 in quaters at self car washes within 2 or 3 weeks.

I think he's talking about an arospeed bomb muffler with the silencer. If so i'll let you know, I'm having one installed on friday with 2 1/2" pipping from the cat back.

I had it

I had it. Like it alot. if you want a loud deep tone..go for it...hehe... horse power..hmm.... u'll feel the difference with the silencer off, and silencer on, but i think over all if you have the B-pipe from courtesy or stillen.... you shouldn't have the problem with hp hehe..... greddy catback is a fine exhaust..but i just don't see the difference with the tunable muffler and a b-pipe and greddy catback.... just my opinion i guess hehe... and one good thing i like about the tunable..is that.... after the silencer is on....it's so quiet.... i love it! when u need that mean sound and love to disturb your neibors...take it off..during regular driving put it on.. ^_^

I have the same exhaust from the same company. I like it a lot and the silencer is very helpful for normal everyday driving when you want to quiet it down. I only have it welded to my factory piping, didn't bother making it 2.5" piping. Sounds really really deep and low, not like some riced out Honda.
