I got the Lund (Trenz) billet style grill. Stillen sells it, but I got a better price through a Stillen reseller in the Group Deals section of the website.

Hahahaha, Mack I know you and I have already been at this regarding the grille. You hate the trenz and I hate the active tuning ones. I guess we shall just agree to disagree! Although, I did mention that I love your rims and I actually bought a set as well, still waiting to receive it. Damn shipping is taking forever.

LOL true brotha. We'll agree to disagree. S'all about personal pref for sure. Man definitely post some shots of your miz once the wheels come in bro. Sounds like you got a great price on 'em. I'm still loving mine and get hard looks daily. Especially from 350z's LOL!!!

FYI I pulled up to an 02'/'03 body style mustang GT today on I-285, revved a bit so he could hear my CAI kick in. Guy didn't have any ***** he wouldn't run with me, so then I just dusted his a$$ HAHA! I also ran Neck & Neck with an '06 GT a few months back from light to light. The guy was VERY surprised and I was laughing. I had my A/C crankin' too!

No doubt man, I will post pics once I get them. I want to add a CAI to my car as well but it will screw up my extended warranty so I decided not to do it. I keep thinking about it though, I miss the roar of it. I had one in my 95 max back in the day.

Bottom line, his ride, his choice, we should only be concerned about his question and presenting options...

FYI CAI does not void the warranty. I checked with my Nissan service manager when I was shopping them around.

And Deus, my point was, I ran with the biatch w/out even really trying. This was before I had ANY modifications. With the CAI, CM Y-Pipe, Magnaflows and my sweet AT Grille, I know I would smoke a GT no problems!

The nissan dealers here in Connecticut seem to think other wise. They all tell me that if I install one, if I need any warranty work regarding the engine it wont be covered.

Sorry OT. Mustang GT's are a dime a dozen in my area, I will admit some of the new 08's look pretty hot but most know me by now and other than a couple of sweet a$$ Cobra's in my area, they will not go up against me, last 2 sets of GT's mostly talked with me about how impressed they were about my V-6 taking their V-8s. I know I know, I can't take everyone, but I have plans ongoing to put the Cobra's to rest as well. Again I plan on breaking new ground...

HAHA! Always good to hear stuff like that Chern. Yeah the Cobra's are pretty badass and yes the GT's are a dime-0-dozen around her as well but I LOOOVE messing with them as most are too dense to realize a Maxima isn't exactly a sloth. But when you start smoking Cobra's please keep us posted!

I'd do some research man. Maybe call up corporate. Whatever the case, now that I have my CAI I could NEVER go back. It's incredible!

Yea I even asked what if I bought their own nismo intake and had them install it, and they still said my warranty work would be voided for any engine related repairs. I give up on calling nissan corporate as well because everytime I called them in the past, they never did crap to help me. Screw em

Just go for it man. If something crazy happens (c'mon it's jap made so it'll run forever) you'l l always have us to commiserate with!! In fact, I bet Chern will dispatch to your crib straightaway to help with any repairs. And I'd be happy to paypal you $5 to chip in for parts.

Chern what are you running in the 1/4mi? Most of the newer GTs (05+)seem pretty fast. I don't really see a stock max beating them in the 1/4mi. The 04 and down yes but the newer GTs?

To the thread question: I went with the Street Scene Speed Grill. It was fairly inexpensive and I like the look. I got mine from Stillen. Dues has one powder coated black.

If money was no object, I'd probably have gone with the AT grill. Just for grins here is the Silver Stream at the track with an older Mustang you can hear the CAI kick in

I believe each Dealership is given some autonomy in how they handle warranties. I took my car to Nissan in Laurel, MD and the Service Manager said if I installed a Nismo intake it would not void my warranty, b/c it's a Nissan performance part. I took my Max to Nissan in Silver Spring, MD to get my tranny replaced and the Service Manager said even w/ a Nismo intake, it could void my warranty depending on the circumstances. I called Corporate and they threw me some BS and told me to talk to the Managers at the Dealership and that each Dealership may have diff. practices concerning warranty issues. So I would suggest talking to the Service Manager's and getting an understanding of what will or will not void your warranty.
