installing stainless steel lines quick question

The original brake lines have little prongs coming off the ends where it connects to the caliper. Im assuming these hold the brake line in place while your tightening down the bolt. Well the new stainless steels dont have those prings, its just the little ring that the bolt goes through. The position i put these in doesnt necessarily matter right? Because it looks like the line could be fed through one of the original spots the prongs used to line up in but it kinda puts the line in a bind and positions it close to the cv joint.

this is probably a stupid question, i just wanted to confirm. cant wait to bleed the brakes and start drivin' this thang.

CAUTION!!!!! E/BAY stainless brake HOSES JUNK!!!

please watch your self with those stainless brk lines. I installed them in june and replaced them all with OE lines since.the lengths were off,too long. But just a little so what could it hurt?Well both fronts got pinched somehow and blew. Last week my pedal started slowly going down at long stops, like a high milage master thats been bled 1 time too many.Wrong again.Rt rear line between the axel & caliper was leaking.Ill never buy offshore CHINA again. Idont think they like US.
