Hey guys!! Yesterday while driving i noticed something hit my foot!! When i glanced down i saw a wire hanging...so after i reached home i went down and look then noticed a second wire. They both are different meaning it cant be connected together.

Now i just released this morning that my clock stopped work . I dont know if its because of those wires or not.

That's the OBD1 connector...just shove it back up in there...

 

Thanks for the fast reply. I did just that and i took my finger and tapped the clock and its working again

 

actually it's the consult connector technically
OBDI lacks a standardized connector

 

Does anyone even know if you can hook up a diagnostic tool to those ports? I have one of the consult connectors that you attached to laptop and are able to diagnose but I hooked mine up and it didnt pull open the consult port. I found out that the GXE verson didnt have consult am I correct?

 

wait both of those are the same thing? there's 2 different connectors in his pictures. I only have the one with the frilly stuff on my car. And according to nForce i guess that's because i have a GXE.

 

only 1 connector, just several different views of it.

 

negative.....those photos show two different connectors, one has slots running vertical and horizontal, while the other have them just goint horizontal (or vice versa, depending on orientation) see below:

yeah they are different, after the first one fell down i went under to inspect and saw another. I've pushed both of them back up, if it falls again i'll tape it up

 

Why shove em up when they're coming back out? I personally clipped em off with wire cutters..Gosh couldn't stand those filthy things down there.
