EGR FLOW MALFUNCTION!

i just pulled a code today EGR FLOW MALFUNCTION!!! ANY IDEAS ON WHAT IT COULD BE?? please help before i strangle my car!

EGR

Might be clogged.....try removing and cleaning.

ORLY?

Try checking the really short 1.5" vacuum line that is under the u.f.o., it likes to dry rot and crack with age..........

I had that code, about 2 years ago. My problem was resolved by replacing the EGR solenoid valve. I replaced my knock sensor a couple a days before and then this code 0302 popped up. I must've disconnected by mistake when replacing the knock sensor since they are so close together.

sweet ima change the solenoid valve and see if thats it....did it change performance or gas mileage after u changed it?

Performance wise, it was very noticeable. Gas mileage improved slightly. I guess It would've been better. I was excited about the discovery of hidden power so I was stomping on the gas pedal one too many times
