New Springs

Well I finally got some new front springs in, same drop as before but as soon as I was finished everything was great except now my allignment is slightly off, pulling to the right. I'm also replacing the tie rod end tommorow as well but the allignment was fine untill the new springs. Is that a normal occurance since the spring was broken for so long or is there something I should check.

If you had to remove the strut then your alignment should be off. IIRC you can paint a circle around where those two 17mm bolts go so you can keep your alignment but I'm not sure, Lets wait and see if anyone with more experience chimes in.

Your allignment should be off especially because your old spring was broken.

No,your alignment is unaffected by just removing the struts, unless you have adjustable aftermarket camber bolts..

Toe-in is the only adjustment that can be made on these cars, the toe is adjusted at the tie rod end.

Then why did I have to get an alignment after replacing struts? I dont have any aftermarket bolts

Most likely, your car had a previous alignment done on it with the old worn out struts still on it. Old worn struts will sometimes cause the springs to sag, thus changing the front wheels trajectory, then when you had the new struts installed, your tierods were then mis aligned to the new height.

If you look at FA-6 of your FSM,it will tell you exactly what i said in my first post,toe-in is the only adjustment.
