FADED DASH
I don't know i think it would be better and faster to paint the dash if you take it out of the car. If you don't want to do that I guess you can tape up all the accessories with plastic and go from there but you will have the paint smell there for about 2 weeks unless you have the window down for a sertine time Good luck.

Florida sun is a ***ch, just leave it as is doesn't look that bad (it's not brittle correct?)
max ride 41 is correct -when the sun hits that paint and cracks it'll look bad. Get a shade for the front glass to prevent more damage.

I can't promise it will be OK on Max dash, but a few cars back I put a vinyl paint on a Neon dash. I used a flat black 'cause there was too much glare on the windshield. It worked great and lasted the 5 years I kept the car. Just tape carefully and don't do it on a windy day - - use a garage and not when dash is very hot. I got the paint at NAPA.
No, it's not brittle. Perfect condition other than the color. I had no intention of painting it. I though there might be some sort of wipe on dye.
totally agree with him,it doesnt look bad at all.I would say, dont even think about painting it,cause as someone also said, florida's sun/heat is a ***** and it WILL get what it wants.Just get some protector and clean it,so ti wont get worse.
