VQ35 S13 driveshaft for sale
Since some of you guys are going the Broaner route (maxima to S13, but keeping the VQ) I am putting this out in the open here.
I've got a driveshaft custom made for a VQ S13 conversion. It uses 3 1/4" tubing and is 53 3/4" long, which places the engine in the right spot as far as the S13 crossmember indentation goes relative to the Z33 oil pan. This requires no firewall cutting and the VQ coolant log behind the engine ends up being almost exactly 1 inch from the stock S13 firewall. The shop that made this driveshaft told me they went up to 800 HP on automatic big blocks with 3 1/4" tubing.
The front joint is off a 2004 G35 steel yoke. The rear U-joint is a GM North American conversion which bolts to the stock S13 R200 differencial. It is the same bolt pattern as the stock S13 driveshaft, but is much beefier.
I am selling it for 500 shipped. It cost 411$CND to make, plus 300$CND for the G35 driveshaft.
