Am I getting ripped off? Struts/springs install

I don't have the tools or a place to put my new Tokico struts and springs in myself, so I'm having a shop do it.. does $450 sound like a rip? Thanks

What kind of shop is doing it? If it's a franchise like Brakemax or Pepboys, that sounds about right. A local performance shop should do it for a lesser amount.

Even for installing Koni inserts I'd say that's a ripoff. If you're near me I can give you a hand sometime--where do you live?

$450 is way to high for just labor. are any parts innvolved? $100-$200 is normal for just the install.

Ripped off big time. $200 is a fair price for a shop and much less if it is by one of your buddies.

I had a local shop change 4 struts for 80 bucks... springs shouldn't cost any extra - same job anyway

I used to use S&K motors on Waters, I trusted them when I still lived there.

Before u pay to get them put in -get some new strut bearings and check the upper strut mounts before re-install, u don't want to pay twice to do it later.
