Faulty Coils

I know maybe this question has been asked a million times, but i dont seem to find it anywhere. Maybe because i'm still a noob trying to figure this thing out.

In anycase, i pulled a 0701 code which says its a random misfire. Now question is, is there a way to check for faulty coil packs?

I'm talking DYI type stuff. I have a voltmeter and a brain, thats about all.

Can someone help me out? My car doesnt just have that smooth idling sound anymore.

Thanks

I won't be like most azzholes on here and tell you to go search for yourself, but it took me all of about 30 sec. to search for this in the little search box, there's one at the top of every page on the org.
