setting up microvision screen

hey guys...i just bought a microvision screen and also an alpine dva-9860...i have an alpine cda-9827 in there now...i was just wondering if the wiring harness is the same so it would be a plug and play? and also what else would i need to hook up for the new headunit?

Alpine plugs either come in black or a white/clear plug. Keep black plug with black plugs and white with white. I beleive the newer Alpines have black plugs while the older ones have white.

just because an old plug is the same color and fits into a newer deck does NOT mean it will work - MAKE SURE you check the wire locations as well.

At some point, Alpine swapped the ground and the constant wire in the same color plugs (and same size/fitting), Ive run into this before.

OP, I can pretty much garanty the 9827 harness will not fit in the 9860.
