m45 Seat Installation

So I got the bottom portion of a new M45. I ripped it apart noticed it had heated seats. So i took the heated seat portion off. Also noticed it had cooled seats. With the heated part there are for wires. Black/red/white/yellow. Obviously red and black are power and ground. What are the yellow and white...are they for the switch? If so how should I wire it up. ALso is there anyway I could put the cooled seat portion in my I30 seat? Just wondering if there is at all any possibility of doing this.

I would think that one of those wires is for low heat and the other for high.
The cooled seat you would just need to hook up a different set of switches.
Or, run high heat on the high heat rocker switch and high cool using the factory heat low heat rocker switch.
Or low... whatever you want
hope that helps.

yeah the other two wires are going to be the settings for the heat. Did you mean the cooling system is in the other seats or the front seats too? Both front and rear? What?

Actually the Ms have three temperature settings. Low/medium/high for each heating and cooling. So there are three of your wires.

nope theres for sure only 4 wires for the heating element. I haven't really looked at the cooling yet. I'm pretty sure its from an M45 becuase I don't remember that the G35 came with Cooled seats. Would I be able to put it on a rocker switch and run a low heat and high heat when i want?

speaking as an infiniti tech, i dont believe you can do it with just a rocker switch. theres 3 heated and 3 cooled settings on the switch.

do you have access to the switches? If so you might not have a problem wiring them up.

I meant if he does. He said he had the bottom half of the car (?). So I thought maybe he had them? I don't know. But it would save him time and I'm sure you could help him out.
