Single Disc Bose to 6 Disc Bose

I did a lot of searching and I could not find a working link for this. However, can you pull the 01 Bose deck out and replace it with a Bose deck, like in the 02 and 03, with the 6 disc changer. It looks like the connections are the same, just a different color for the trim. Any help would be awesome.

thanks.

Why not get the changer that goes in the trunk? The wiring is already there and you would not have to swap out anything.

Hey bro, if you are looking for one I have my old one I just replaced with my pioneer unit. I'm looking to move it since I dont need it anymore. It works great, although I forgot to remove the cds out of the unit with the new one is installed so they are still in there. Its the 6 cd changer.

Should be plug 'n play. Guys with 00-01 I30s with Single-disc Bose HUs have swapped to 02-04 I35 6-disc Bose HUs with no problems (and no modifications).

depending on how much you want for it, i might be interested. there is a guy at work that just totalled out his max and he has one sittin at home that he will never use, because he is getting a G35x.

other than that, thanks for all the input!

after you install it, can you let me know if it was plug and play, and an easy fit, and if everything (including steering wheel controls) was fully operational?

I'd appreciate it
