Underhood light?

The Maxima doesn't come with one, does it? Mine doesn't have one, but I want to make sure it didn't just get ripped off or anything..

Either way, I'll be looking for one with a mercury switch from a junkyard car the next time I'm there.. or else tap into the security plunger switch near the battery to hook one up that way.

I will. I'd like to use the alarm plunger since some mercury switches are a biotch to install at just the right angle.. if the switch is too sensitive to tilt, my hood light could stay on and drain my battery until the end of time.

Ye idunno man, i dont think its that worth it for the amount of work that goes into it. A flashlight in your breakdown bag is a better idea.

My dumb *** tends to use the cell phone light as a flashlight. Thats actually not a bad idea. How about using LED'S?
