HAI/Short Ram intake info

Well to day i had to replace the starter afterwards i upgraded the "accordian" couplers with silicone boots, the "vac box" i noticed a rubber liner inside of so i ripped all of the rubber liner out, I re-installed everything, and now the intake noise is almost non-existent till 5000RPM it pulls harder than it did before, especially on the low-to mid range has anyone else experience this?

well i am currently experiencing the stock intake with everything working properly, so if thats what you're asking then yes, low end torque is great, mid range is even better.

Got any pics? It's hard to visualize what you're talking about.
