could be a slight fuel problem...Do you have an AFC or Eu.....Could also be the very first sign of the fuel pump taking a dump....

doesn't a bad MAF cap your RPM at 2500? so it rules that out.

you could check and see if all your coil packs are running right
(emitting the right spark whatever)

After I took my throttle body apart for cleaning .... like an a-hole i took off the tps. I put it on and didn't think anything of it. My car kept bucking like crazy but only at certain rpms. I adjusted it and there has been no more bucking.

If cylinder 5 is misfiring then your coil there has gone kaput...Change that and everything should be back to A ok...

Pull the coil first, plug it back in and plug in a spare spark plug, hold it to the intake manifold while you or assistant starts car, the plug can cause misfire code as well.

have you changed you fuel filter? I had that same problem so I replaced mine and it helped a little but not all the way but I also have a bad O2 still gotta replace that. and if you do replace your filter I was told get a 300zx filter.

I would try the following ::: new plugs first - if that doesn't do it, then do the coil pack. If the new plug and / or coil pack doesn't do it, try replacing the fule filter.

At first ... I though, learn how to shift mate! but ... I agree if you're pulling codes, that must be the reason! lol G'luck, keep us posted please.

Cheers ~!~
