K well i got the axle bracket to rotate by hitting it with a hammer, but still no luck on getting it out. Is there a specific place you guys recommend to pry or pull from?

I usually cut them rusty bolts out with a hack saw or a grinder. Then take a hammer and screw driver and knock it out.

You have to remove the d-side axle, then take a long instrument of some type(large screw driver/end of a breaker bar/etc.) Hit the end of the passenger side axle through the hole on the d-side axle side of the transmission..

Haha, nice. I remember those days. My car is from Pennsylvania and is rusty as **** underneath. I swear it took me 3 days of constant pounding and prodding to get the original passenger side axle out. I never wanted to give up on a car so badly and just throw it down a cliff as I did then.

Tis' true. It took me a LONG time to get that axle out. I had to hit that thing COUNTLESS times to get it out. Now make sure you take a wire-brush to it, and never-seize that inside surface before you install the passenger side axle again. Not that you'd ever have to get in there again...but just in case, you don't want to go through an ordeal like that again.
