Driving a max with a bad injector

Is it safe to drive a max with a bad injector for say 250 miles.
I did drive my old one with two bad ones for a a long time so I think it should be
fine. Let me know what you think.

I'm in the same boat as you my friend. I have a rear center fuel injector that needs to be replaced but it's still drivable..the power is cut some and the mpg is lower but it still gets from point A to point B [it's been driven about 1,200 miles w/ the BFI so far]

Driving 250 miles for an injector doesnt sounds good at all. The time consuming and the gas and tolls. Add that all up is a brand new injector with a intake manifold gasket and maybe labor time if u can do it.

I drove with 3 bad ones for a short distance, couldnt get over 30-40 mph though. Also drove 150mi with a bad coil, which is equivelent. It had just failed but it was a holiday and the dealers were closed.

Driving with a single bad one is not too bad, you'll be fine.

So if you drive too long with a bad injector is it going to mess up your catalytic converter ?

I used to have a 3rd gen VG. I drove it for a long time on 5 cylinders....then on 4. Finally replaced those two, then had a third injector go out. I never had any problems, except the crappy sound and lack of power.
