Miami Countyline Dragway News Story

Hey all, just wanted to let you know that Miami-Dade has a dragstrip that's been going on since Feb 07. The local gov. station did a story about it, pretty cool.

Here's the link:

Its track just to get people off the street and racin at the track. Prep work there sucks though. They lay all the VHT in the center and its basically bulging at the center, so if ur on the left late, right side of the car is slightly higher, lol. Also the lanes are UBBER small. Like street lanes. Everytime Ive gone there (no exaggeration here, every time) a RWD car has swung around and hit the walls on the side and ricoched (sp*) from one side to the other (again, not much room for error on those narrow lanes).

Other than that though, its "better than nothing", since Moroso is all the way the heck on the north side of West Palm County.

It's decent. Better than nothing (like 95blkmax said) for sure, though.

Although it is poorly prepped, i still always have alot more fun at countyline than moroso. The announcer is awesome!! lol (can be annoying at times though), the cars are cool you could see a foor door mid 90's jaguar with a 350 in it, or a miata with a 350 on nitrous!, to a skyline, to a 3.5 4thgen or a turbo auto 4th gen on nitrous lol.
