350z stock muffler on 6th gen?

Hi, I was thinking of buying a stock 350z muffler and having it custom fabbed to the maxima. I really like the way an 350z/g35 sounds and i think we have the same motor so we will get the same sound out of a maxima as a Z right? Let me know what you guys think

Answer would be no! Completely different design.

I have one if you want to buy it though...

Cattman has an exhaust out soon (weeks or possibly days away). I am probably going to get that. Waiting for a check to come to cover it

thanks .

to the OP, i think you can get the sound you're looking for with the Greddy. Best part is that it doesn't drone too much at cruising speeds.

the sound has little to do with the muffler, Vibrant has been doing testing and found it's more to do with the resonator, the 350/g35 have a smaller resonator that is packed slighty differently

YEah get sp2 for sure. they are not loud like one of those that you see on 93 civics, but they look nice and sound just right.
