Just to let the 07 people know, I talked to Actice Tuning, and the guy basically told me they most likely will not make anything for the 07 grill wise..Maybe we should just make our own grilles..ahah cut the middle and add some mesh.

that sucks. why not, though? if they make it, i just might buy it if it looks really sick - like how it's chernmax's car and jsmithole's car - i dig that grill

is there no way we could get them to make it?

Hi Dev,

We are finding that the new grille designs are not lending themselves very
favorably to an aesthetically pleasing aftermarket fiberglass replacement
similar to the ones we make for the earlier models. I don't expect we will
have an offering in the near future. Thank you very much for your interest.

Regards,

maybe once there are more 08's (which will probably fit the same grill as 07) there will be more of a buzz and thus more parts..........

Get a spare grill........ send it to JoseRedMax and see what he can do with it..... I think he made one before for the 6th gen and it looked awesome.

PhotoGus - The '08 does have the same grille as the '07. But working against that fact encouraging any aftermarket replacement grilles is the reality that '08 is strictly a short filler year, similar to '03. There may not even be 60K '08s sold, as they are the swan song of a departing generation. I would bet the 7th generation '09 will be replacing the '08 on the production line sometime between January and March.

Another factor working against replacement grilles for the '07/'08 is the fact the OEM grille, although nothing special, is more in keeping with an SE motif than the chromy grilles of the '04 thru '06.

Yes, I realize that modders like something a little different than OEM grilles on their vehicle, no matter whether the OEM grille was 'hot' or not. And it would seem there would be an aftermarket grille for any version of a car as hot as the Maxima. But economic times are very tough, and maybe companies are retreating back into their shell to see whether we go into full recession. Who knows?
