i recently noticed a weird noise (04 SE auto). right around 27-2800 rpm's, while accelerating, i get somewhat of a metallic/tin rattle. its VERY quick... like, 1-2 seconds (NO noise before or after those rpm's) and its nothing similar to an exhaust rattle- MAYBE a heat shield, and the car is completely stock.

anyone heard of this problem? anyone know of a TSB or recall that may mimic this sound?

 

its been talked about 2032093 times... Its the heat shield's....

dontate 10 bucks to the org and do some research...
