quick help..dome lights

quick help..dome lights

how do i remove the plastic, so that i can replace my bulbs..i was messing around with it, but I don't want to just snap it and then have to replace that also..thanks, i have an 07.

I was gonna try doing it and after tugging a little pulled a little to hard. The whole console I believe it held in place with plastic push plugs. If I kept on tugging I would have to resest the plugs and then pop back in place but never got that far. Let me know what you find out, Ill check the fsm if I have time later.

from what i know its simple, just supposed to crow out the plastic top..hmm not sure..someone help me ha

i replaced my bulbs using small flathead screwdriver inserted at top of lens gently but easely done

alright so now that i know the lens can come out, let me go try this again..hopefully the thing doesn't snap in 2..

i got it out..but the damn bulb is like so hard to get..im pulling but its not coming out wtf.

Alright all done, here is the guide for anyone wondering.

Some screw drivers like these will do just fine.


Use those two, to basically pry out the plastic clips..don't worry it wont break, the plastic is tough..



Once thats removed, you wont have enough room to get the bulb..There is this metal piece that reflects light, it comes right out..basically pry it out from the sides..don't worry it wont break, its meant to pop in and out..





Once all thats out, grab the bulb and pull..it takes effort, and basically use common sense and reverse order..
