...I still haven't gone 100 in it yet.

I know it will do it easily but traffic is always so bad when I am driving. Even on the freeway, I am catching up to traffic too quickly to get much past 90.

Pretty much every other car I've had, one of the first things I have done is taken it up to 100.

 

I had a 5.5 gen and did a lil over 130 on that and know i own a 6th gen and so far hit 125

 

This is how bad traffic is in the Dallas/Fort Worth area. My average speed for today was 24 mph and the lowest posted speed on any road I was on today was 35...and I typically drive 5 over the limit.

 

i barely hit 85 in my car thas when i go to track most of the time i be chillin in the city and doing 65 on intersate even though speed limit is 70.

 

.... warning... this thread is awfully close to being locked.... driving 100+ on public roads is just the same as street racing...

 

I took mine up to 90-95 during the test drive just to see how it rode...

Then, I had my (now ex) gf with me and we were coming back from Florida during Spring Break, and I passed a full-size Chevy truck/SUV, signaled, moved over in front of him, and he flashed his lights at me. Didn't see any reason for that, so I ignored him. Got off at the next exit, so did he. Turned right at the bottom of the ramp, so did he. Then he followed me as I made a 180 in a hotel parking lot, back onto the onramp, and back done the interstate... Needless to say, I flew and got the hell away from this guy! I was in the 100-ish range for a good 20 min.

 

I took my car up to 107 mph once and CHP gave me a certificate of authentication.

 

I've found the 5th gen cruises along quite nicely at 100
